|Recommended: YesAn Outstanding First Apartment — The rent is unbeatable and the apartment units are great. It's close enough to MSU to get to campus quickly, but far enough to be away from campus. I would highly recommend checking them out.

|Recommended: YesOne of the best value apartments in Springfield — For the price, it is a good quality community that takes care of its residents. The location is good, the noise isn't too bad, and the basics are there. While these aren't the most top of the line apartments, it is a good option if you are looking to get the best for your money. The buildings and grounds are kept clean, the pool is nice, and the amenities that should be standard are standard.

|Recommended: YesComfortable and courteous — I've had less issues here than anywhere else I've lived with neighbors, including general noisiness. The apartments appliances themselves appear to be well kept up with on move-in, It is also worth mentioning that generally as I've lived here that some kind of improvements were being worked on at any given point. The fact that I can pay my rent online on a recurring basis is very convenient, as of yet I've not had any trouble with it. The on-site laundry is a bit more of a mixed bag as should probably be expected. As a cyclist taking my laundry elsewhere would be a lot of hassle so the availability is very nice, the price-point is less so but as I said this is probably to be expected captive audience and all that. I've also had some issues with contacting staff, while this is likely not entirely under anyones control the property has switched managers a number of times and at this time I believe there is not a manager for our particular property but that the manager is at another property all-together with time spent between the two. The policy on pets is reasonable, I have two cats, excepting that I do personally find the combination of pet deposit and pet rent a bit unreasonable. The inclusion of high speed hovers somewhere around 300 mbps on my wi-fi, closer to 800 wired both up and down internet is very nice. While my internet was spotty when I moved in after calling the provider it was fixed relatively quickly and the issues have not come back. I've had to call maintenance a few times and each time the issue was resolved promptly and without fuss. All in all I would call it a comfortable place to live.

We are so happy to hear that even during the transition of an office manager we were able to stay on top of any maintenance issues that you had. We appreciate hearing from you and are happy that you chose to make Briarwood home.
|Recommended: YesBriarwood is a college students dream — Rent is a great price, the staff is kind, and the apartments are spacious On the outside it may look classic with the red and brown look but on the inside it looks fresh and easy to decorate to your own standards. I have loved my time here and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to live.

|Recommended: YesPerfect for college students — Obviously this property is a bit older and not anything fancy, but it's more than enough for my roommate and I. We're both going to college in Springfield, so the location is perfect. We've hardly ever needed to contact maintenance and when we have, they were quick to fix the problem. Briarwood is also very affordable Haven't had any problems with people or noise. This is a great place.
